It's been so busy with all the kids' activities that there has not been much time for blogging or anything else. I just wanted to take a moment and post some updates on all the cool things the kids have been up to. Austin is doing well with football, he really loves it, but I am still worried he's going to get creamed. It’s happened once or twice, but no major damage. He has also started learning to play the trombone in the school band. Arianna is still taking guitar lessons, she had her first recital the other day and she did fantastic! She had a pretty bad case of stage fright, but she got through it. I was so proud of her for performing even though she was so scared. She has also started a cheer squad with some other girls who have brothers on Austin's team. It’s so cute to hear them cheering for the team. Eric has just started drum lessons, which he is very excited about. The first one went great and his teacher is super patient, so I think he'll stick with it. We have decided to build our own band since everyone will play a musical instrument except me.
They were nice enough to offer to let me play the triangle though, Thanks guys!
The very best thing of all was having Tom come home. We managed to surprise him at the airport, he had no idea the kids' would be with me when I picked him up. I couldn't imagine not having them there to welcome Daddy home.
