Big Apple Babies

We were very lucky to get to have the kids fly up for Christmas, especially since I am unable to fly right now. We have them with us for the whole winter break, but had to trade away our time with them next year to make it all work. That's the way it goes I guess.. It was worth it to have them here with us so close to the baby coming as well as sharing the holiday season with them. Here is a random sampling of the fun stuff we did while we were together.

Tom and I at Radio City Music Hall. He took me to see the Rockettes again on Thanksgiving. I absolutely loved the show and I loved being able to say that Keira went to the show too, even if she was still hanging out inside of me.

Anna and Eric checking out the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

I think this lady is hiding something... Is it just me or do she seem a little round in the middle? Maybe I am just seeing pregnant ladies everywhere...

These two boys look more alike every day.

I loved the decorations around Manhattan, we were so lucky to get to see them twice. The first time with Tom's parents at Thanksgiving and then with the kids at Christmas. These lights are almost as tall as I am.

The kids in time square.

We have been so blessed to spend this holiday season with the people we love so much. We hope that all of you have a magical season and are surrounded by love and miracles.

Rocking 'round the tree

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

A New Career?

Do you think there might be a spot for me in the kick line? I think I'm up for the job, even if I am 8 1/2 months pregnant..

Showered with Love

My dearest friend Mackenzie was so kind as to offer to host a baby shower in honor of our little miracle. (Hopefully she didn't feel obligated, as we are naming the baby after her) She is a fantastic friend and I will never feel like I deserve all that she has done for me in the years we've known each other. Kenzie also invited Arianna to be the co-host of the shower and the two of them worked their butts off to make sure it was a special celebration and they truly did a fantastic job. Thank you both for everything!

Magenta, silver and black the perfect colors for a chic baby shower.

My contribution to my shower.. The cake was crafted by the same lady that did our wedding cake for the vow renewal ceremony in Vegas, she is a cake genius and I was craving this almond poppy seed masterpiece. I never dreamed it would turn out so beautiful.

I am so lucky to be loved by such great women! Thank you to all the lovely ladies that made my day so special. I wish we had gotten a picture of the other half of the group, but my mom threatened certain death if anyone took her picture, so we avoided her side of the room.

The hostesses with the mostest.

This photo is so precious to me as its me and my two girls as well as Kenzie and her daughter. I am so thrilled that our girls will be raised together and will be so close in age.

Thanks Kenzie for taking this journey with me!!
