On July 17th Tom flew to Paducah, KY., on business and he will be gone until October 1st. Its been interesting to be on my own while he's gone, the house has been so quiet with no one else here to worry about, it is definately taking some time to get used to that feeling. I run away to Salt Lake and hang out with my sister when the loneliness gets to be too much, its very nice of her to put up with me. When we took the kids back to their moms' before Tom left, it was such a switch to go from having them here full time for the summer break to not having them here at all. It made the house seem very empty. I still see them a ton though because Austin has started football practice and Arianna is now learning to play the guitar. Its been hard to get each where they need to be on my own, but nobody has missed anything yet, so I guess I'm managing.
We talk each day, but I still miss Tom so much. He'll be home this weekend for the first visit since he left, the kids and I are counting down the days. We can't wait!!!

I'm missing you. I thought you would be hanging out more here. Hope you're doing well and tht you have fun with you hubby this weekend. Everytime I get too excited for something, it blows up in my face, so don't get too excited, but have fun!!!!
So sad that Tom is so far away. Hopefully once it reaches the half-way point, it will go faster.
Make sure to watch all the chick flicks you can and eat all the food that Tom doesn't like!
